A Web designer can employ various methods to organize content in a way that will enhance ease of use and navigability. This course presents and explores methods of organizing Web site content. Both information architecture and user-centered design methodologies including object-oriented design are presented and discussed. Students learn the pros and cons of each method and in which situations to use them, as well as the principles needed to apply them. Hands-on exercises follow each introduced concept. Prerequisites: Basic understanding of HTML programming and familiarity with Web browsers.
