Accessibility Services

Do you sell your software or web based application to the U.S. government? If so, your product needs to be legally compliant with accessibility requirements.

Have you received an RFP asking about your Section 508, WCAG1 or ADA compliance? If so, these requirements should be implemented for your product.

To help you with Accessibility issues, we provide three services:

  1. An Accessibility Audit : This is a simple and quick assessment of your product’s compliance with the law.
  2. Consulting during Initial Product Development: With our help at this stage in development, you can strategically manage accessibility resources.
  3. Reviewing of the Development Process: This will help improve your product cycle.

What Is Involved in An Accessibility Audit?

An Accessibility Audit tells you exactly what your product needs to be compliant with existing regulations.

During an Audit, we’ll inspect your product for compliance to one or both of the concurrent accessibility standards that must be met today. (Section 508 or WCAG).

We combine both software and our own ‘human inspection,’ based on our experience in Accessibility testing, then base your product’s final grade on current best practices in accessibility design and implementation. We know the rules because we’ve worked with the people who wrote them – that’s your assurance that when we say you’re compliant, you are compliant.

Specifically, we provide:

  1. An Accessibility Evaluation Report which identifies the specific accessibility hot spots within your application. The report includes the following items by page:
    • Summary of Accessibility Issues with Severity Ratings
    • Specific Design Implementation Recommendations, based on your software development methodology
  2. Consultation with the application designer/team.

Charge: The minimum charge for an accessibility audit is $500. We’ll give you an exact price after we take an initial look at your application. We discuss all fees up front.

Report Delivery: Generally we’ll deliver a report within two weeks after we’ve both agreed to the work.
